Experience this acclaimed title for yourself

Set in a rural Japanese town in the 1960s, this psychological horror game explores the concept that “beauty can be terrifying.” Through battles against monstrous creatures and puzzle-solving, the game depicts the crumbling daily life and inner struggles of high school student Hinako Fukami.

The story was written by Ryukishi07, known for *Higurashi: When They Cry*, but since there are no connections to previous titles, you can start with this game without any issues. The ending for the first playthrough is fixed, while subsequent playthroughs feature a multi-ending system.

Upon its initial release, the game garnered attention for Hinako’s courageous words and actions, as well as her action scenes. Subsequently, gameplay commentary by Konatsu Kato—who voices Hinako—gained popularity, prompting other cast members, such as Natsuki Osaki (voicing Osamu Iwai) and Yuka Iijima (voicing Rinko Nishida), to begin posting their own commentary videos.Go Masago, who played the father, and Tamami Hiraoka, who played the mother, even posted a short video of themselves celebrating the New Year together in a friendly manner.
