Livestock

• Cattle and Sheep Introduced

• Both produce manure; cows produce milk, and sheep produce wool.

• As with other animals, you can harvest meat, bones, and hides from them.

• Fully grown animals can also be sold to NPCs at the ranch.

• There are several ways to capture wild livestock; while their efficiency varies, they are all intuitive to understand.

• Like plants, livestock have genetic traits and needs, and you can breed them to find clones of the Divine. However, since genetic behavior isn’t exactly the same as with plants, conventional techniques may not always work.

Livestock Economy

• By raising and caring for livestock, you can obtain new resources and rewards.

• Once cattle and sheep reach adulthood, you can sell them at the stable to exchange for various resources.

• If you take an animal to the stable and speak to the new merchant outside, you’ll be presented with a random purchase offer based on the animal’s genetic quality.

• You can reject the offered terms and request a different offer up to two times, but if you do so more than that, the merchant will become displeased and will not purchase any animals for the next 15 minutes.

• You can also sell sheep’s wool harvested from sheep to the merchant. As with selling animals, you can receive up to three offers, but the reward offered depends on the amount of sheep’s wool you bring in at one time (up to 400 units).

Milk

• Cows provide milk, a new resource.

• You can drink the milk as is, but if you refrigerate it for 4 hours, a new option called “Skim” becomes available.

• When you skim the milk, you’ll receive two items: skim milk and cream.

• Cream is a more potent consumable item.

• Milk and cream can be used in various crafting recipes. Generally, milk can be used to extend the duration of tea’s effects, while cream can be used to enhance the intensity of those effects.

Biofuel Generator

• A way to make use of raw or rotten meat. It can convert organic matter into low-quality fuel, but it requires manual stirring.

• Processing begins once you add materials and stir; it takes about 30 minutes until the next stirring.

• If you connect an IO, you’ll be notified when it’s time to stir.

• The amount of low-quality fuel produced depends on the type of organic material you feed into it. The higher the caloric content, the more low-quality fuel you’ll obtain.

Small Animals and Aquatic Life

• In addition to livestock, smaller animals have appeared to bring even more vitality to the world.

• Creatures such as frogs, rabbits, squirrels, sea turtles, crabs, and jellyfish will appear throughout the island, depending on their respective habitats.
