Fixes for Issues Reported Within 24 Hours of Release

In addition to fixing bugs reported by users within 24 hours of launch, this patch includes performance improvements related to character movement, animations, and physics.

The main updates are as follows:

  • Fixed a bug related to leveling up Business and Barter skills

  • Added details to the objectives of the quest to add decorations and plants to “Ramen Noir”

  • Fixed an issue where the “Fill the Store’s Inventory” objective in the introductory tutorial was difficult to understand

  • Improved visibility from the boat’s cockpit to reduce the likelihood of motion sickness

  • Fixed several issues related to furniture placement

  • Added instructions on how to skip transition scenes

  • Improved the manager’s behavior when purchasing ingredients

  • Fixed an issue where lowering the LOD setting to 0 caused display glitches

The next patch is scheduled to reduce the rendering load for large-scale scenes

According to the development team, some of the improvements currently in the works did not make it into this patch, as they prioritized addressing the most urgent issues.

The next patch is scheduled to introduce a “light culling system” to improve rendering performance in large-scale scenes. Additionally, the team is exploring ways to further reduce the load on character simulation.

A known issue is that text may become unreadable when the quest log is hidden by holding down the J key and then displayed again. Although this has already been fixed, it was not included in this patch. If this issue occurs, it can be resolved by reloading your save file.

As of this writing, the game’s Steam user reviews are rated “Somewhat Positive.” While many reviews praise the game’s content, numerous issues regarding performance have also been pointed out. With further improvements planned for the next patch in addition to this update, it will be interesting to see how the ratings change going forward.
