Amazon Game Studios has begun offering a total of two PC games, including *DOOM* (2016), for free through “Amazon Luna,” a service for Amazon Prime members.
The two newly available titles are as follows:
*DOOM* (GOG.com version)
"Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit" (Epic Games Store version)
The giveaway period for both titles runs until November 5, 2026. By claiming the games during this period, you’ll have unlimited access to them thereafter.
*DOOM* is the first installment in the reboot series released in 2016 by id Software, known as the pioneer of the FPS genre. Its appeal lies in the fast-paced action of constantly moving around while mowing down hordes of demons.
The “Glory Kill” system—where you finish off weakened enemies in spectacular fashion—also originated here. Please note that the GOG.com version (DRM-free) being distributed is single-player only and does not include multiplayer or the “SnapMap” online features.
The sequel, *DOOM Eternal*, is also available for free on Amazon Luna through October 22, so this is a great opportunity for those who want to start with the first game in the reboot series.
"Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit" is a 2D adventure game created to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the security-horror series "Five Nights at Freddy's."
You play as Oswald, who has traveled back in time from the ball pit of an abandoned pizzeria; as you move back and forth through time, you solve mysteries and escape the animatronics that relentlessly pursue you.
『DOOM』
"DOOM" has been reborn as a modern shooter that combines intense fun with challenging gameplay.
Developed by id Software—the studio that pioneered the first-person shooter genre and created multiplayer deathmatch—*DOOM* has been reborn as a modern shooter that combines intense fun with challenging gameplay. Relentless monsters, weapons with immense destructive power, and fast, fluid movement form the foundation of intense first-person combat.
Story
There’s a reason you’re here. The massive Union Aerospace Corporation research facility on Mars has been overrun by vicious, powerful demons, and only one person stands between their world and ours. As the sole Doom Marine, you have only one mission: to take them all down.
Relentless Combat
As you fend off the relentless hordes of monsters pouring in from hell, you can’t afford to take cover or stop to recover your health. Combine futuristic and iconic weapons, upgrades, vehicles, and an advanced melee combat system to take down monsters in creative and brutal ways—slash, stomp, crush, and blow them away.
Note: The DRM-free version of DOOM (2016) is single-player only. It does not include SnapMap multiplayer or online features. SnapMap content is unlocked by default.
*Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit*
Survive five terrifying nights in this spine-chilling adventure game. Travel through time to solve puzzles, gather clues, and outrun the relentless threat chasing you. If you move quickly and stay hidden, you might survive. But be careful—this time, it’s not just your life that’s at risk.
Amazon Lunais a service available to all Amazon Prime members. Previously known as Prime Gaming, it used to offer free PC games, but it has now been integrated into the cloud gaming service Amazon Luna. The free games are available even from Japan, but the cloud service itself is not accessible from Japan.
The free giveaways are available for a limited time, so be sure to grab the titles listed above.
*The price listed in the article headline is based on the Steam version.
