On September 30, 2026, EdCorp announced an update to the Steam demo of the 3D dungeon RPG *Greed & Darkness*, developed by Rescue Party, adding support for 13 languages, including Japanese.
A labyrinth where terror creeps in at night. Can you safely seize the riches and return home?

The game is set in a dungeon on the outskirts of town where wealth and terror lie dormant. At the mayor’s behest, a young man is sent into this dungeon.

Told not to leave the dungeon until he brings back 1,000 gold, the young man must explore the underground labyrinth—where suspicious figures lurk—armed with nothing but a single torch. To avoid being noticed by others, he may sometimes need to extinguish the torch while moving.

If you pick up a sword, you’ll be able to fight enemies. Combat in this game takes place in real time. Although the enemies are pixel art, they feature a variety of animations. They attack by swinging their weapons up, right, or left, so it’s important to time your swings in the same direction to parry their attacks.

Sometimes, enemies will even throw bombs at you. You can deflect these by swinging your weapon at the right moment.

There are also areas within the dungeon called “Safe Rooms,” where you can purchase items and rest. According to the Safe Room’s owner, “You must not wander around the dungeon at night.” What on earth could that mean…?

Defeating enemies rewards you with gold and items, and a massive door awaits deep within the dungeon. What lies beyond it—wealth, or something else entirely...?

*Greed & Darkness* is scheduled to launch soon on PC (Steam). A demo version with Japanese language support is currently available.
