On September 30, 2026, Bandai Namco Entertainment mentioned the flight stick compatibility of the PC version of *ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE* (Ace Combat 8)—scheduled for official release on October 2 at 7:00 a.m.—in a Steam News post.
The company has also released the fourth installment of the behind-the-scenes video for “ACE COMBAT HOUR ZERO,” a live-action short film serving as a prequel to the game.
Certain device configuration features are not available in this title
The Steam News post for this title provided an explanation regarding flight stick support for the PC version.
Currently, while flight sticks were supported in the previous title, *ACE COMBAT 7*, certain configuration features are unavailable on some devices in this installment. While the developers acknowledge that addressing this will take time, they state they are working to improve the experience so that players can enjoy a setup similar to that of the previous game.
They will provide further updates on progress as soon as details are finalized.
