Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the titles included in the October 2026 Free Play lineup for its subscription service, “PlayStation Plus (PS Plus).”
"Digiboku Earth Defense Force 2," featuring a gathering of all-time military classes on a square Earth, is coming
The following three titles will be available as part of the Free Play program starting October 6:
The voxel action shooter *"Square Appears Again on a Square Earth!?" Digibox Earth Defense Force 2: EARTH DEFENSE FORCE: WORLD BROTHERS* (PS5/PS4)
The stealth horror game *Hello Neighbor* (PS5/PS4)
Racing game “F1 25” (PS5)
“Digibox Earth Defense Force 2” is the second voxel spin-off in the “Earth Defense Force” series. Set on a square Earth under attack by giant enemies, you’ll rescue troops scattered across the globe, select four allies from among them to form a squad, and head out into battle.
In addition to featuring all the soldier classes from the main series and spin-offs, enemies that plagued Earth in past games have been transformed into voxels and join the fray. Of course, new enemies unique to this title also make an appearance. The game supports online co-op for up to four players and split-screen play for two.
“Hello Neighbor” is a stealth horror game where you sneak into your neighbor’s basement to uncover the secrets the homeowner is hiding. Your opponent is an AI that learns from your actions—if you break in through a window, it will set a bear trap, and if you try to escape, it will use shortcuts to corner you. Since the AI learns from your behavior, the same tactic might not work twice.
“F1 25” is the official game of the 2025 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. It features “My Team 2.0,” where you become the owner of an F1 team, a Career Mode, and a new multiplayer mode called “F1 World,” where you team up with friends to compete against AI drivers.
All titles will be available from October 6 to November 2, and PS Plus subscribers can add them to their game library.
Additionally, the September Free Play titles—*Sniper Elite: Resistance*, *MLB The Show 26* (English version), *Wobbly Life*, and *Chained Echoes*—can still be added until October 5.
Free Play is available on all plans: “Premium,” “Extra,” and “Essential.” Please check the official website for details on each plan.
