GEAR2 has officially released the life simulation game *Princess Maker: Children of Prophecy*.
“Highly Acclaimed” Popular Life Simulation Series Gets a New Official Release

This title is the latest installment in the “Princess Maker” life simulation series. With Karen—a character who appeared in “Princess Maker Q”—as the protagonist, players watch over her healthy growth through her studies and interactions with friends.

Set in the Demon Realm, home to a variety of races—including cats that understand human speech and beastmen with cat ears—Karen’s life will lead to various outcomes through her studies, social activities, and interactions with friends her own age.

“Exploration”—which can be dangerous at times but may also lead to discovering treasures depending on luck—is also a valuable experience for a girl her age. The accumulation of daily experiences during this formative period will lay the foundation that greatly shapes the rest of her life.
At one point, the project’s future was in doubt
In September 2025, the future of the project was briefly in doubt—for instance, the update originally scheduled for that time became uncertain due to a project handover—but the game has now successfully achieved its official release.
By July 2026, the Early Access version had earned “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews on Steam.
In addition, an update has been released to coincide with this official launch. It includes new content such as eight new career endings, four endings involving characters you meet in daily life, and new events you can experience as you progress through the schedule. It also features revisions to the combat system, including adjustments to the combat formula and region-specific difficulty levels, as well as several bug fixes.

“Princess Maker: Children of the Prophecy,” a nurturing sim where you gently watch over a girl’s growth while sharing in her joys and sorrows, is now available on Steam for PC for 3,900 yen. As part of a release commemorative sale, it’s on sale for 3,120 yen—a 20% discount—through October 15.
