“Death Game Simulator” lets you be the death game’s “organizer,” now on Steam Early Access—join or watch, voice changer included.

Hiding their true identity, they host unreasonable mini-games and watch the participants struggle from the stage. On the other hand, it is also possible for participants to defeat the game master.

"Death Game Simulator," a party game where you can take on the role of the "organizer" of a death game, is now available on Steam Early Access! Join a life-or-death survival game or watch from the sidelines—it also features a voice-changing function.

Independent developer Tamago Eggs has released the early access version of the party game *Death Game Simulator* for PC (Steam).

The game of “eat or be eaten” begins

This party game supports both single-player and online PvP modes, allowing players to take on the role of the “host” in the kind of unreasonable and cruel death games often depicted in movies, TV shows, and anime.

When it comes to death games, a mysterious Game Master often appears—and this game is no exception. You’ll don a mask you’ve designed yourself in your workshop, alter your voice with a voice changer, and craft an eerie persona.

The Game Master decides the format of the event. The mini-games include crossing narrow platforms where one misstep means certain death, as well as true-or-false quizzes. Since it would be no fun if players cleared the challenges too easily, you’ll occasionally trigger traps while watching the participants struggle from the stage.

Of course, the participants aren’t just going to sit back and take it. The game includes “Chaos Cards” that could turn the tide of the battle; these trigger various effects, ranging from granting invincibility to causing participants to sabotage one another. In some cases, it’s even possible to defeat the Game Master.

Additionally, the game’s voice-changing feature supports streamers during live broadcasts. Viewers will never hear the streamer’s real voice; instead, they’ll hear the altered voice.

“Death Game Simulator” is currently available in Early Access for PC (Steam). It is priced at 530 yen, but until October 14, it can be purchased at a 20% discount for 424 yen. The Early Access period is expected to last between six months and one year.
