On September 30, 2026, independent game developer RRR announced that a demo version of “CodePhantom,” the 3D action game featuring humanoid combat mechs that he is developing, will be released on Steam on October 8.
Pilot the humanoid mech “PHANTOM” and defeat enemies by increasing your sync rate

This 3D action game has you pilot the humanoid mech “PHANTOM” and race across the battlefield using boosts, jumps, and sidesteps. The premise is that the pilot is synaptically linked to the mech; as you engage in combat with enemies, your synchronization rate with the mech improves, enhancing all of its capabilities.

When the synchronization rate exceeds its limit and enters the “Over-Sync” state, you can engage in ultra-high-speed combat on a whole new level.

The PHANTOM can be equipped with a variety of weapons, each with distinct characteristics, including rifles, gatling guns, shotguns, handguns, and blades. Since the mech’s characteristics change significantly depending on the weaponry, it’s important to choose equipment that suits your combat style and the mission at hand.

A demo for this title will be available on Steam starting October 8. The game will also be featured in the “Steam Next Fest: October 2026 Edition,” taking place from October 20 to October 27 (Japan Time). Why not take this opportunity to try out this new 3D robot game?
*CodePhantom* is scheduled for release on PC (Steam) in late 2026. The demo will be available starting October 8.
