Ice Quake Studios has officially announced the PvPvE escape shooter *Project S.U.N.D.I.A.L*. A new trailer has also been released.
"Project S.U.N.D.I.A.L," a 2D PvPvE escape shooter—seize the loot in a harsh world
*Project S.U.N.D.I.A.L* is an escape shooter currently in development by Ice Quake Games. Set in a 2D depiction of a collapsed Europe, players take on the role of a Hollow Hunter belonging to Unit 13 and venture into dangerous areas.
Mutated wildlife, ruthless raiders, and “Hollows” roam these areas, forcing you to decide whether to avoid contact through stealth or engage in head-on firefights. You may occasionally encounter other players, creating constant tension as you decide whether to cooperate or betray them.
Additionally, real-time events occur during raids. Various events—such as distress signals, crashed drones, and raider ambushes—offer chances to obtain valuable items, but they also carry risks that can drastically increase the likelihood of death, such as encounters with bosses. Whether to turn back or press forward—every decision is always left up to the player.
The game also features a customization system inspired by *Tarkov*, with a wide variety of parts
In this game, players lose all their loot and equipment upon death, and damage to different body parts has distinct effects.Being shot in the legs slows your movement, while a head injury impairs your vision. It’s crucial to adapt flexibly to all kinds of dangers, including radiation exposure, poison, starvation, blood loss, and extreme heat or cold.
Furthermore, inspired by *Escape from Tarkov*—often considered the pinnacle of PvPvE escape shooters—this game features extensive gun customization through a wide variety of weapon parts, such as stocks and scopes.Since your appearance changes depending on the armor you’re wearing, you can assess the combat strength of NPCs and other players based on their gear and use that information to decide whether to engage in combat.
