On September 30, Coffee Stain Studios announced "Core Values," the first major expansion pack for *Satisfactory*, at the "The Big Break Showcase 2026."
The first paid DLC!
*Satisfactory* is an open-world factory-building game that combines elements of exploration and combat.
One to four players explore an unknown planet and build massive factories. The game has undergone continuous updates for over five years since 2019, with the official release coming in 2024. “Core Values” marks the game’s first paid DLC.
"Core Values" expands the game with the underground world of the planet "MASSAGE 2(A-B)b." Players will explore countless cave biomes, where new resources, plants, hostile creatures, and encounters with feline animals await.
According to the developers, since the DLC is still in development, more detailed information will be revealed shortly before its release. At this time, the following new features have been confirmed.
A new story within the DLC, separate from the main story
Hostile and friendly creatures inhabiting the cave biomes
New factory facilities, equipment, research, and production lines
Various constraints on factory construction resulting from terrain that differs from the surface
"Core Values," the first DLC for *Satisfactory*, is scheduled for simultaneous release on PC (Steam/Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. The release date and price have not yet been determined.
