Activision and Infinity Ward have announced a new game mode called “Collateral” for the latest installment in the series, *Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4*, which is set to be released on October 23.
“Collateral,” a new mode where players manage equipment and money while battling, is coming to PC

“Collateral” is a new game mode being added to *CoD: MW4*. While there have been game modes in the past where teams are divided into attackers and defenders and compete for victory in each round, this mode adopts a system familiar from *Counter-Strike* and *VALORANT*, where players must manage their money and equipment while fighting.
Teams are divided into two sides—attack and defense—and take turns battling, with two bomb site locations. All players start with a pistol and can earn money by killing enemies or completing objectives.

Additionally, between rounds, players can use the money they’ve earned to purchase various upgrades.
Armor and Perks: Armor Vest, “Battle Hardened,” “Lethal Reach,” “Fast Hand,” “Ghost”
Equipment: Flashbang, Molotov, Frag Grenade, Stim, Smoke Wall, Riot Shield
Pistols: Silenced Pistol, Revolver, Akimbo Pistols, Power Pistol
Standard Weapons: Shotgun, Light Machine Gun, Marksman Rifle, Silenced SMG, Agile SMG
Tier 1: Semi-Auto Rifle, High Damage Rifle, Burst Rifle, Silenced Rifle, Sniper Rifle
Team Purchase: UAV
If a player is killed, they lose their equipment, but any funds earned are carried over to the next round. Additionally, kill streaks, respawns, automatic health regeneration, and custom loadouts are all disabled.
Additionally, the “Collateral” game mode is a PC-exclusive feature.
PC system requirements and pre-load schedule have been announced; pre-order customers can begin pre-loading starting October 15 (local time).

In addition to the “Collateral” game mode, the official news article “PC Trailer, Tech Updates, and More” reveals various updates regarding the PC version. With over 800 customization options available in this title, players can make detailed adjustments to suit their specific setup.
In addition to optimized hardware support, the game supports all resolutions and monitor settings, including 4K and ultrawide. Players can also choose from the latest upscaling technologies, such as “AMD FSR Redstone” and “NVIDIA DLSS 4.5.”
A wide range of other options are available, and the system requirements for the PC version have been released. Additionally, TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are required to play *CoD: MW4*.
