A list detailing the wide-ranging improvements was released on September 28, explaining changes such as the skill system being revamped into a tree-based format.
The Japanese dubbed launch trailer has also been released, allowing you to see the improved visuals.

Metacritic has published a summary of international reviews for this title, which has received a score of 94 and is described as “more than just a resolution upgrade—truly the definitive edition that has revived a legendary RPG.”
