Regarding “Japanese Ramen Simulator,” a ramen shop management simulation developed by Wild Dog, the company’s CEO, Hiroto Nakajo, revealed on his X account on September 29 that, even though the scheduled release date has passed by one day, they still haven’t received the results of Steam’s review.
Still Waiting
This title is the latest release from Wild Dog, the studio behind “Keep Digging,” and is a management simulation where up to six players run a ramen shop together.
Players handle a wide range of tasks, from preparing ingredients to cooking, serving, and customer service. When it comes to making ramen in particular, the doneness of the noodles, the temperature of the broth, and the choice of ingredients are crucial. Players can recreate a bowl they usually enjoy at their favorite restaurant or come up with a completely original creation.

In addition to being able to customize the shop’s layout, special events occur during business hours, such as visits from critics or break-ins by thieves. Players must respond appropriately to each situation to overcome these crises.

This game was originally scheduled to begin Early Access on September 28 at 9:00 AM, but the release has been postponed due to delays in Steam’s pre-release review process, and as of this writing, a new release date has not yet been determined.
Amid all this, Mr. Nakajo—who once gained attention as the “solo network engineer” behind “Palworld” and is now the CEO of Wild Dog—reported that he still hasn’t received the review results. He suggested that the review process might be backed up due to the increase in game releases driven by AI, and in another post, he expressed surprise, writing, “I submitted it for review over three weeks ago—I never expected this...”
*Japanese Ramen Simulator* is scheduled to launch in Early Access for PC (Steam). As of this writing, a new release date has not been announced.
