First Day Games and Gamersky Games have released the idle hack-and-slash RPG *Deskroll: Idle ARPG* on PC (Steam).
The game was a huge hit, attracting over 18,000 players on its first day of release.
This title combines the loot-hunting elements of hack-and-slash games with idle gameplay. Judging by the store page, it appears to be influenced by *Diablo*.
Players create characters from four available classes—including Warrior and Wizard—at launch, then collect loot and level up by running through 80 different dungeons. The unofficial statistics siteSteamDBshows that, despite having just launched, over 18,000 players (as of this writing) are already enjoying the game.

All materials needed to upgrade weapons and experience points required for leveling up can be automatically obtained by defeating enemies.
Another key feature is that all enemies in the game—including bosses—can be captured; once captured, they pull a cart and collect dropped items for you. They also provide support during combat, aiding the player with buffs and special skills.

The game also supports the Steam Marketplace. As of this writing, it appears that several “reins” items—which unlock monsters as allies—are currently listed for sale.

"Deskroll: Idle ARPG" is currently available for PC (Steam). The regular price is 905 yen, but it can be purchased for 633 yen as part of a launch celebration sale through October 13.
