Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) plans to begin accepting pre-orders for the latest installment in the series, *God of War: Laufey*, starting at 10:00 a.m. on September 29.
The Latest Installment in the Series Features Kratos’s Wife as the Protagonist
This title is the latest entry in the *God of War* series, developed by Santa Monica Studio. Unlike the series’ familiar protagonist, Kratos, this game features his wife, “Laufay,” as the main character.
In the Land of Eternity, Laufay acquires a weapon that transforms from a serpent into a bow. Since she can instantly switch to a shooting stance, this ability can be seamlessly woven into her combat as a follow-up to other powerful attacks. Fully depressing the aim trigger allows her to unleash a powerful precision shot, while she can also execute rapid attacks from a hip-fire stance.
You can also switch between various types of arrows and customize her unique abilities by equipping “scales.” Combine this with customization of armor and other gear to discover your own playstyle. You can also check out combat footage featuring the Serpent Bow atPS.Blog.
