LoadComplete has once again announced via its official X account that the number of wishlist entries for "Void Diver: Escape from the Abyss," an escape RPG for PC (Steam) developed by STUDIO NEMO, has surpassed 250,000.

This top-down 2.5D action RPG features pixel-art characters as you battle to retrieve various artifacts from “Abyss,” a city that has been transformed into a massive dungeon ravaged by otherworldly forces.As the manager of the antique shop “BALUSHA,” your mission is to send “Divers”—each with their own backgrounds and abilities—into the Abyss, skillfully command them, and ensure their safe return.
While exhibiting at TGS—and perhaps thanks to that exposure—the game reached 250,000 wishlist entries, as announced on Steam News. The official X account once again expressed gratitude to subscribers and revealed the roadmap leading up to release.
According to the roadmap, in addition to adding new chapters—a continuation from the demo—as well as new areas, monsters, divers, and other content, the team plans to implement a new feature that allows players to build relationships with NPCs at the antique shop. This will expand the game’s world and provide beneficial effects for gameplay.Furthermore, the developers revealed plans to add mini-games that players can enjoy as a breather between main story content, as well as convenience improvements such as item locking and save file backups. Aiming for Rich Content and High Quality: Official Release Set for January 2027
The developers also announced that the official release date has been set for January 2027. They explained that they decided to cancel the original plan for an Early Access release in order to provide players with a better experience through a game featuring a wealth of content and a high level of polish.
*Void Diver: Escape from the Abyss* is scheduled for official release in January 2027 on PC (Steam). A free demo version, which supports online co-op play for up to three players, is currently available.
