Remedy Entertainment has revealed its future update plans for the action-adventure RPG *CONTROL Resonant*, which was released on September 24.
Replayable “New Game++”
In *CONTROL Resonant*, players can continue playing after completing the main story to tackle unfinished quests and other content, or start over from the beginning with “New Game+.” However, the October update will introduce a new “New Game++” mode.In this mode, players can replay “New Game+” as many times as they like without losing their progress to date—and the developers say players can enjoy it for as many as 665 playthroughs if they wish.
“Photo Mode” Is Also in the Works
Additionally, “Photo Mode”—which was postponed at launch to prioritize polishing the main game—is currently in development. The team is reportedly collaborating with talented virtual photographers from the community to deliver the best possible experience. “Photo Mode” is scheduled to be implemented around November.
*CONTROL Resonant* is now available for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store),PS5, andXBOX Series X|S. Additional costumes for the protagonist, Dylan, are planned for release, and further details will be shared closer to the launch date.
