Red Sandbox Studios has announced "Mountain Goatastrophe," a cooperative mountain-climbing action game for PC (Steam).
A Rope, Yes—But a Rubber Rope? A New Ordeal-Style Action Game Announced

Inspired by *Chained Together*, this game is a mountain-climbing action title that supports solo play or co-op for up to four players. Players take on the role of goats connected by a single rope and must work together to reach the summit.

The game features a “we’re all in this together” mechanic: if one player slips, the others are dragged down by the rope—but conversely, players can also pull their teammates forward.

The rope behaves like a rubber cord using physics simulation; if it stretches beyond a certain point and turns from green to red, it’s a danger signal—and players will be yanked toward each other all at once.

The trailer showcases the goats navigating various maps—including mountains, icy and snowy terrain, narrow tree branches, rock faces, and rivers—as they take turns pulling and being pulled along.

*Mountain Goatastrophe* is scheduled for release on Steam.
