On September 25, independent developer Suika Tabe Tabe Usagi launched the Steam store page for the puzzle adventure game *PW7A*.
Following the itch.io release, the Steam version is now live. The background music has also been completely revamped.
This short puzzle adventure game puts you in control of a robot that has awakened from a long slumber in a ruined building, as you explore the area.
The retro-style visuals, created using PICO-8, are striking. The key to progress lies in how you interpret the clues you gather along the way; the game is designed so that players can move forward by thinking through their own “insights.”

With an estimated playtime of about one hour, it’s a compact game that’s perfect for a quick play session. The controls are simple and intuitive, so even beginners to puzzle adventure games can play without feeling overwhelmed.

This title was released for free onitch.ioin August 2026 and reportedly surpassed 5,000 browser plays in just 17 days after launch. As of this writing, it has received a high rating of 4.9 (based on 78 reviews), and the comments section features feedback not only from Japanese players but also from users overseas.
Meanwhile, the upcoming Steam version will feature a completely revamped soundtrack. The music is being composed by Shiro (@petit_zome), the creator of “ANRI,” which was selected for the Reiwa 8 “Agency for Cultural Affairs Media Arts Creator Development Support Program.”
“PW7A” is scheduled for release on PC (Steam). A free browser version is also available atitch.io.
