Libragames has announced that it will release the deduction puzzle adventure *Thank You 4 Playing* for PC (Steam) on January 8, 2027.
An “Obra Dinn”-style deduction adventure where players deduce solutions from social media posts
This title is a “Obra Dinn”-style deduction puzzle adventure influenced by *Return of the Obra Dinn* and *Welcome to the Guild Quest!*. Players gather strategy information from in-game social media to identify the weaknesses of a high-difficulty boss and aim to defeat it.
Following the positive reception of a version released for a limited one-month period in August 2026, the developers have decided to release a polished Steam version featuring numerous additional elements.

Due to certain circumstances, the protagonist finds themselves in a situation where they must clear a particularly difficult game as quickly as possible. Players will aim to clear the game—and do so as fast as possible—by searching social media to investigate information on boss weaknesses, stage strategies, and exploit techniques.
Defeating a boss grants you a special move—much like in *Mega Man*—which you can then use to take down the next boss. After defeating a boss, you must also record the information you’ve gathered in your strategy notebook and complete every page of it.

The illustrations throughout the game are by Seramikaru, known for works such as *I Can’t Beat Airman*. With the release of the Steam version, nearly all of the illustrations used in previous versions have been updated.
The Steam version goes beyond just updated graphics; it reportedly includes a wealth of new content and improvements, such as the following:
Addition of the new boss “Ghostman”
Addition of social media characters “Maid” and “The One Who Connects the World”
Addition of “Contest Entry Illustrations” for each boss after completing the notebook
Complete overhaul of the ending illustrations
Addition of illustrations depicting “what happened to the contest entrants” for each boss after the ending
Overall UI overhaul
English versions added to existing Japanese songs
A soundtrack featuring all tracks, including the additional songs, will be available
Libragames (developer: Nes), the studio behind this title, is an indie developer known for tower defense games such as *Reverse Defenders* and *Inugami Defenders*.
According to the announcement, if enough players add this title to their wishlists, the team plans to proceed with development while considering a follow-up in the mystery puzzle adventure genre, and they are encouraging players to add it to their wishlists.
The Steam version of *Thank You 4 Playing*, which is estimated to take 2–3 hours to complete, is scheduled for release on January 8, 2027.
