Ikurie released a “Progress Report” regarding the board game “Shin Megami Tensei: The Board Game (SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI - THE BOARD GAME),” revealing that supervision of all production materials has been completed, orders have been placed, and mass production has begun at the factory.
Mass Production Finally Begins
This board game is based on Atlus’s RPG series *Shin Megami Tensei*. While it successfully raised 98,963,619 yen on Kickstarter, the project has been a source of anxiety for backers, with the developers issuing multiple apologies for the lack of updates.
Furthermore, the shipping start date of August 2026—which had once been described as a “confirmed schedule”—was postponed to November 2026 due to issues with the payment system.
In the “Progress Report” published today, September 24, via a Kickstarter update, the team reported that supervision of all production items has been completed, orders have been finalized, and mass production has begun at the factory. It was reaffirmed that shipping is scheduled for November 2026.
Regarding shipping costs and customs duties, the team is currently preparing details and will provide an update as soon as there is further progress.
Two Demon Cards Introduced
The update also introduced two demon cards with special abilities. You can view images of “Jack-o’-Lantern,” which is said to stabilize your strategy, and the powerful “Norn,” which allows you to take more actions than other players.

"Shin Megami Tensei: The Board Game" is scheduled to begin shipping toKickstarterbackers in November.
