THQ Nordic has announced that the action RPG *Titan Quest II*, currently available in Early Access, will be officially released on January 19, 2027.

Moving to Version 1.0 in January 2027 Following Early Access

This title is the official sequel to the acclaimed hack-and-slash RPG *Titan Quest*, based on ancient Greek mythology. It is being developed by the German studio Grimlore Games (best known for *SpellForce 3*).

Supported platforms include PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S; however, regarding the release date for the PS5 version in Japan, the company states, “Please stay tuned for further updates.” Additionally, the game does not currently support Japanese.

An Epic Tale of Heroes Facing the Goddess of Vengeance, Nemesis

In the game’s world, Nemesis, the goddess of vengeance, has run amok, corrupting the threads of fate and seeking to inflict eternal punishment on all who defy her. Players will join forces with the gods on a journey to rewrite fate itself, halt Nemesis’s rampage, and free those who have been punished.

The adventure takes you to beautiful sandy beaches, serene temples, ruins haunted by the shadows of the dead, and even the realm of the Moirai, the Three Fates.Explore handcrafted, three-dimensional fields while facing off against classic mythological creatures such as Ixians, Centaurs, Griffins, Hippocampus, and Cyclopes.

On the gameplay side, the game features a flexible build system that allows you to combine two masteries to create your own original hybrid class. By freely combining skill modifiers, attributes, and equipment, you can develop your character from a young human into a hero rivaling the gods.

In combat, enemies form factions and coordinate their attacks, using a variety of abilities to challenge the player. You’ll enjoy high-action battles that make full use of dodges, counters, and combo attacks, and you can even control the game’s difficulty yourself through the “Ritual” system.

Throughout its approximately one-and-a-half-year Early Access period, the game has undergone numerous updates—including the addition of new lands, equipment, and abilities—based on feedback from many players. With the official release of Version 1.0, the expanded adventure will reach a new level of completion, and additional new features are scheduled to be introduced.

Details regarding pre-order bonuses and other incentives will be revealed in the future, and the developers have stated that new stories and features will continue to be added even after the official release.
