Destined has published the Steam store page for "Dungeon Quest," a dungeon-crawling RPG developed by Australian developer James Oliver.

A Fusion of First-Person Exploration and "Draw-a-Line" Tactics

This dungeon-crawling RPG blends old-school first-person exploration with a puzzle-like combat system where players draw lines on a grid to fight in a single continuous path. The developer released *Marble’s Marbles*, a *Marble Madness*-style game, in January 2026, and reportedly continued to pursue his signature “modern-retro” design philosophy in this latest title as well.

Players explore procedurally generated dungeons whose layouts change every time. They discover winding passages and hidden rooms, collecting loot as they venture deeper into the dungeon.

Combat takes place on a dedicated game board, where connecting matching icons (tiles) with a single continuous line triggers attacks or resource collection. For example, combining a sword and a skull tile attacks, a potion restores health, and a shield boosts defense.

Collect coins to unlock powerful upgrades that completely transform your strategy.

As you gather resources, your hero grows stronger and unlocks special abilities that completely transform your combat style. By creating synergies and skillfully manipulating the board, you can unleash a barrage of devastating combos.

Players can choose from four classes: Warrior, Hunter, Mage, and Cleric. Each has unique abilities and a distinctive playstyle, ranging from brute-force combat to clever skill chains, so you’re sure to find a class that fits your playstyle perfectly.

"Dungeon Quest" is scheduled for release on PC (Steam) on September 23.
