The official “WARDOGS” X account has released a teaser trailer for Season 2, which premieres next month.
In addition to changing weather conditions, there are also flames inside buildings.
This FPS lets players enjoy large-scale battles where up to 100 players are divided into three teams. While engaging in firefights on the front lines is a given, the game’s key selling point is the freedom to continuously transport troops to the front and build forward bases.
In the newly released 30-second clip, you can see a battlefield suddenly engulfed in heavy rain and thunder. Starting in Season 2, we may see new maps where rain begins to fall during a match or where the match starts while it’s already raining.
Additionally, near the bottom-right corner of the screen, you can see flames rising from inside a house. Although details haven’t been revealed yet, this might indicate the introduction of in-building fire mechanics or equipment like Molotov cocktails.
The video ends with the date “October 15, 2026” displayed on screen, so we’re looking forward to the new season, which is expected to begin next month. Details about the new season are scheduled to be revealed in the future.
*WARDOGS* is currently in Early Access for Windows (Steam). It is scheduled for release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2028.
