On September 22, 2026, SummerClip released the 3D roguelike action game *Ved: Riqua* for PC (Steam).

An anime-style, high-speed roguelike action game where the protagonist aims to return from a world of unplayed games to reality

This anime-style 3D roguelike action game follows a protagonist who has wandered into a mysterious game world and, together with other characters, strives to return to reality.

The protagonist is a “responsible adult” who, late at night on the 27th consecutive day of overtime, added the 1,000th game to their library—an action that trapped them in that world. Players control characters with distinct combat styles to defeat the enemies and bosses that stand in their way one after another.

At the heart of combat is the highly flexible “Buff Chain” system. Buffs acquired during a run can be set to trigger on conditions such as normal attack finishes, special attacks, dodge counters, and parries, allowing you to chain multiple effects together to build your own unique combos and combat style.

The demo version, released in April 2026, included Chapter 1 of the main story, three playable characters, four boss battles, and approximately 35 types of buffs.

The full version features a main story spanning all four chapters, along with seven playable characters, 16 bosses, over 150 types of buffs, and more than 50 types of equipment. It also includes a boss rush, Endless Mode, and a Training Ground, and the balance for acquiring and leveling up items and character progression has reportedly been adjusted.

A Steam news post released to coincide with the launch revealed that the game was ultimately developed by a team of nine and took over three years to complete.

Based on playtest feedback, the game offers four difficulty levels. On “Easy,” a red indicator appears before enemies attack, and after clearing “Hard,” “Extreme” difficulty becomes available. The developers had intended to add even more enemy attack patterns on the highest difficulty, but due to budget constraints, they were unable to implement them at launch.

If the game performs well after release, the team plans to work on adding this new content in the future. They also mentioned that a training mode has been implemented.

Game*Spark had the opportunity to try out this title at “WePlay Expo 2025,” held in Shanghai, China, in November 2025. We’ve reported on the feel of the combat—where “follow-up attacks” derived from the final hit of a normal attack interact with buff-based enhancements—so be sure to check that out as well.
