“PHASE ZERO,” a ’90s-style survival horror with fixed cameras, launches March 11, 2027—survive a blizzard night in a port town

SPINA Studio and SUPERHOT PRESENTS have announced that the low-poly horror game *PHASE ZERO* will be released on March 11, 2027.

A fixed-camera survival horror game inspired by 90s classics

This survival horror game aims to bring 1990s horror games—with their pre-rendered backgrounds and fixed camera angles—back to life in the modern era. The developers say they are working to improve the modern quality of life (QoL) while respecting the game’s iconic roots.

The story is set in 1994 in Flint Peak, a rapidly industrializing port town. As a fierce blizzard approaches, the residents are transformed into grotesque monsters by a mysterious disease. As a survivor, the player must use whatever weapons are at hand to survive until dawn and uncover the truth.
