Square Enix has released an update for the Steam version of *Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon—A Slightly Wonderful Remaster*.
The main changes include adjustments to the sensitivity of certain controls, among other things.
The updates included in this patch are as follows:
Adjusted input sensitivity when changing direction
Improved response speed of the diagonal movement lock button
Adjusted input sensitivity during diagonal movement
Adjusted input processing when moving between floors
Fixed other minor bugs
The developers also stated that they will continue to consider addressing other requests submitted by users.
This title is a remaster of *Torneko’s Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon*, originally released for the Super Famicom in 1993. It is a roguelike game in which players control “Torneko,” a merchant from the *Dragon Quest* series, as they attempt to conquer the “Mystery Dungeon,” whose layout changes every time.
The game was released on September 10, and as of the time of writing(around 8:35 PM on September 16), the game was rated “Mixed” with 43% positive reviews out of 149, with users pointing out issues such as the fixed diagonal movement and unintended attacks triggered by pre-input commands under specific conditions, as well as poor controls and response times.
This title was also featured in our special series [GameSpark Roguelike/Roguelite Club: Issue 55], which addressed some points of dissatisfaction, such as the controls, map display, and character overlap. Additionally, updates for other platforms are scheduled to be released sequentially as soon as preparations are complete.
