"Highly Acclaimed" Developer of 'Chernobylite' Announces Rescue Drone Simulation 'Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance'—Race Through Dangerous Zones and Sometimes Face Off Against Enemy Drones

Anraga Studios has announced "Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance," a rescue drone simulation game for PC, PS5, and Xbox.

Includes missions involving police drones handling crowds—drone construction is also a key part of the sim

This simulation game is developed by The Farm 51, known for the sci-fi survival horror RPG *Chernobylite*, which holds an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam. As a member of a newly established crisis response unit, players will pilot drones to navigate burning buildings and collapsing tunnels to rescue survivors and lead their team.

The game features four types of drones designed for specific purposes: rescue drones track cell phone signals to locate missing persons and drop first-aid kits as needed; firefighting drones suppress flames and clear paths for team members behind them.Additionally, police drones can disperse crowds and subdue hostile targets, and as anti-drone drones, they can even capture enemy drones mid-air.

There is also a workshop where you can build drones. While parts such as engines and batteries affect performance, structural issues can cause problems like camera shake or power failure when it’s needed most, so careful attention is required.

The campaign mode features 20 missions across 5 maps, and a free-play mode is also available. In addition to two control schemes—arcade and simulator—the game supports both first-person and third-person perspectives.

"Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance," which is listed on the store page as supporting Japanese, is scheduled for release on PC (Steam), PS5, and Xbox.
