One or Eight has announced that it plans to release the Steam and Nintendo Switch versions of its new tower defense game, *Pixel Heroes Scramble Plus*, on December 1, 2026.
Along with this announcement, the first trailer—which captures the game’s world—has been released, and the game is now available for addition to wishlists on the Steam store page. The Nintendo Switch store page has also gone live, and a demo is scheduled to be released on Steam in the near future. Further details regarding the release dates and included content will be announced as soon as they are finalized.
Repel Hordes of Enemies with Over 60 Units
This game is a fixed-path tower defense title where players deploy units to designated locations to intercept waves of enemies as they appear. Clearing a stage requires defeating all enemies in a wave, allowing players to reclaim territory lost to the enemy.
Players can control a total of over 60 units. These are divided into two types: melee units that halt enemy advances and ranged units that provide support. The game also features units that excel at slowing enemies down, units that inflict status effects, and units specialized in support. It’s crucial to place the right units in the right spots to match the battle situation.
Stages begin in urban areas and expand into grasslands and deserts. In addition to a wide variety of enemies that swarm in large hordes with each wave, powerful bosses also appear in certain stages.
EX Skills are your trump card for escaping tight spots. In addition to dealing massive damage with meteor strikes and reducing enemy attack and movement speeds, you can also summon reinforcements or defend with barriers.Since their use is limited, knowing when to deploy them is the key to success. Furthermore, one-time-use support items are available, offering features such as dealing massive damage across an entire stage or boosting your combat power by earning coins—providing support that makes the game easy to master even for tower defense beginners.
