Surviving in a Harsh World
In this game, you’ll survive in an infinitely vast, procedurally generated world by battling mammoths and dinosaurs, building bases, farming, and breeding dinosaurs. You can play solo, of course, or team up with friends.
Objective: Survive in an endless world that seeks to take
your life. Build a base, secure food to prepare for winter, maintain your sanity, and overcome illness. And above all, be on guard against the countless prehistoric creatures that hunt you as prey.Survival
: Hunger, thirst, and sanity. If you bleed, wrap a bandage around the wound; if you fall ill, recuperate; if you get dirty, wash up; if you’re tired, get some rest.Surviving
the Seasons: The seasons come and go, but none is as dangerous as winter. Crops wither, the ground grows cold, and the land becomes barren. Don’t waste the warmer months—make sure you’re fully prepared for winter.Combat
: Spears, bows, and slingshots. Read your enemies’ movements and guard at the right moment. Giant enemies strike with heavy blows, while smaller ones attack swiftly.Building
: An astonishingly flexible building system. You can construct walls, roofs, treehouses, and more, but you’ll need to pay close attention to structural stability. Till the fields, sow seeds, and collect rainwater. Bend wood, fill gaps in the walls with branches, dinosaur hides, or mud, and build exactly the structure you envision.Establishing a Base: Place a bed under a
roof, and someone will claim it as their own. Feed them, and they’ll sing; withhold food, and they’ll lament and grieve. They’ll even help with small chores without you having to lift a finger.Taming, Breeding, and Riding
: Tame and breed the beasts you haven’t killed. You can even ride a Triceratops and launch attacks from its back.Crafting and Gambling
: Every time you craft, one of six outcomes is randomly selected. Assess the odds, take risks, and aim for a re-roll. Will you end up with junk—or a legendary item?Play with

*Paleokin* is scheduled to launch on Steam Early Access in Q1 2027.The Early Access period is expected to last approximately six months, during which the developers plan to add more creatures and biomes, a complete skill tree, expanded tribal roles and behaviors, deeper crafting mechanics, additional building components, more creatures to tame and breed, polish and performance improvements, and support for additional languages.
