On September 18, 2026, at the Sega booth during the Tokyo Game Show 2026, Dragami Games and Taiwan-based NADA HOLDINGS unveiled a new promotional video for the action game *Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back*, developed by JP Universe. (Appears around the 1:11:45 mark of the livestream)
The passion of NADA HOLDINGS’ president led to the creation of this title
*Lollipop Chainsaw* is an action game released in 2012 by Kadokawa Games (now Dragami Games). The exhilarating action—in which the cheerleader-costumed protagonist, Juliet, teams up with her partner, the severed head Nick, to mow down zombies with a chainsaw—gained acclaim around the world.
A new promotional video for the sequel, *Lollipop Chainsaw 2: Back2Back*, was unveiled at the Tokyo Game Show 2026.
On the stage where the trailer was shown, a panel discussion was held featuring Joe Ten, President of NADA HOLDINGS; Shohei Sato, President of Dragami Games; Hata Tabata, Representative of JP Universe; and Yasuaki Nasu, Development Director.Regarding the impetus for the game’s production, Joe Ten—who describes himself as an ardent fan of the series—reportedly spent about a year negotiating with Dragami Games to produce a sequel. Production began after Mr. Sato decided he could entrust the project to Ten.
On the JP Universe side, Joe Ten was the first to express his love for the series and pointed out that JP Universe could make the protagonist even more appealing. This coincided with the team’s desire to create a game with a young, up-and-coming team, which led to the start of development for this title.
The development team also shared an anecdote: they were particularly impressed by how Joe Ten reviewed the finished product not only as the development producer but also from the perspective of a fan who had followed the series since the previous installment.
Thus, this stage fully revealed the producer’s deep love for *Lollipop Chainsaw*. It’s been announced that an even bigger announcement is scheduled for tomorrow, September 19, at 9:40 AM, lasting approximately 50 minutes on the TGS 2026 Main Stage.
*Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back* is scheduled for release on PS5 in 2027.
