It has been announced that a stage event titled “Cinderia Latest Update Presentation” for the roguelike action game *Cinderia*, developed by MyACG Studio, will be held on the event stage at the Tokyo Game Show 2026 (TGS2026) on Sunday, September 20—the public days of the show.
During the event, editors from Game*Spark and AUTOMATON will host the development team to discuss the game’s appeal and the question, “Why are roguelikes so captivating?” They will also present footage showcasing the “2-player co-op mode” currently in development.

What Is *Cinderia*, the Game That Sold 100,000 Copies in 10 Days of Early Access and Earned a “Very Positive” Rating on Steam?
*Cinderia* is a dark fantasy roguelite action game set in a kingdom scorched by a powerful witch, where girls who have absorbed the witch’s power explore and battle monsters. It features charming yet decadent artwork reminiscent of fairy tales, paired with fast-paced action.
Its greatest feature is the high degree of freedom: players can freely combine over 180 skills, over 130 pieces of equipment, and passive effects—each available for the four playable characters—to create their “very own build.”

Game*Spark has been covering this title since its March 2025 announcement, and when it launched in Early Access on Steam on March 30, 2026, it surpassed 100,000 copies sold in just about 10 days.As of this writing, the game maintains an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating based on over 5,100 Steam user reviews, and its momentum shows no signs of slowing even nearly half a year after the Early Access launch. In August, a major update was released that added 37 new items, including new features such as “pets” and “gem slots,” further expanding the range of build options.
The game is priced at 2,000 yen (tax included) and supports Japanese. Development is continuing with the goal of a full release in March 2027.
Game*Spark × AUTOMATON Ask the Development Team: “Why Are Roguelikes So Compelling?”
At the stage event taking place on September 20 at TGS 2026, the game’s producer, Xiao Yu, and hotpot, who is in charge of publishing, will take the stage.Kei Aiuchi, an editor at AUTOMATON (Active Gaming Media), will join as a guest, and Kosuke Miyazaki—head of EID’s gaming media outlets, including Game*Spark and INSIDE—will serve as the MC.
In the first half, Xiao Yu will provide an overview of the game and introduce its world and characters, followed by hotpot demonstrating Chapter 1 in a live gameplay session while switching between characters. The editor will watch the session and ask the development team direct questions.

Introducing the “2-Player Co-op Mode” currently in development, accompanied by live gameplay footage
In addition to the game introduction, hotpot is scheduled to explain the “2-Player Co-op Mode”—which was announced for implementation at the start of Early Access—using video footage. Along with design concepts unique to co-op play, such as character coordination and build combinations, the latest information regarding future developments will also be announced.
