WorldMap has unveiled the Steam store page for “Fantastic Junction,” a 2D action-adventure game developed by STUDIO En, and announced that it is scheduled for release in Early Access in 2027. The game involves exploring a hand-drawn planet to gather resources.

Set tens of thousands of years after Earth’s destruction, this 2D action-adventure game follows a scout exploring an unknown planet. It features hand-drawn artwork, with not only the characters and spaceships but also the planets you land on rendered in this style.
Because the landscape is being eroded by space storms, the duration and scope of your exploration are limited. Additionally, the resources you collect to send back to Earth can be converted into health and energy, so you’ll need to manage your resources carefully as you play.
You’ll also encounter battles with native lifeforms, some of which are said to be monstrous creatures of staggering size. Furthermore, by picking up mysterious discs during your exploration, you’ll be able to hear music from Earth—a planet that was supposed to have perished.
Scheduled to be exhibited at TGS!
Nobuhito Kawamura of STUDIO En reported on his X account that the game is scheduled to be exhibited at the WorldMap booth (09-E74) at the Tokyo Game Show 2026. The Tokyo Game Show 2026 is scheduled to take place from September 17 to 21.
Additionally, Yuki Aiba and Yuka Mazda of STUDIO En announced on their X accounts that a playable demo will be available at the event.
"Fantastic Junction" is scheduled for release in Early Access on Windows (Steam) in 2027.
