A dream collaboration event between *Apex Legends* and Capcom’s fighting game *Street Fighter 6* will begin at 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23 (Japan Time).

This major collaboration will fuse the appeal of both titles—which share “competition,” “skill,” and “mastery” as their common core—bringing arcade-style excitement and fighting game culture to the world of the Outlands.A variety of content will be rolled out sequentially, including limited-edition skins (described below), a limited-time mode featuring a third-person perspective, and maps redesigned in a “Street” style.

List of Featured Characters and Collaboration Skins

This event will feature a total of 8 Iconic Skins, each designed to match the Legends’ unique personalities, physiques, and silhouettes.

  • Sparrow × Ryu

  • Alter × Chun-Li

  • Bangalore × Elena

  • Mirage × Luke

  • Gibraltar × Gouki

  • Watson × Cammy

In addition, the lineup includes eight Legendary weapon skins (Flatline, Bolt, Mozambique, Peacekeeper, R-99, EVA-8, G7 Scout, and Sentinel) that coordinate with these Legend skins in terms of color palettes and designs.

There will also be a Rewards Shop where you can exchange the event currency “Zeny” for various items, including the Lifeline × Reifen Epic Skin, as well as skydive emotes, holographic sprays, stickers, and badges for Ryu and Gouki.

Event Highlights: A New Third-Person Combat Mode and a Remixed Version of Olympus

During the event period, players can enjoy “Apex K.O.,” a limited-time mode that transforms Battle Royale into a third-person fighting experience. At the start of a match, players choose a style from among Ryu, Chun-Li, Dhalsim, and Gouki, and by collecting tokens to fill their “Fight Gauge,” they can transform into “Fighter Form.”While transformed, the view switches to a third-person perspective, and in addition to enhanced guarding, mobility, and melee attacks, players can use each fighter’s unique abilities.

  • Ryu: Tactical Ability “Hadoken” / Ultimate Ability “Shin Shoryuken”

  • Chun-Li: Tactical Ability “Kikouken” / Ultimate Ability “Kikoushou”

  • Dhalsim: Low-gravity jump, long-range strikes / Tactical Ability: “Yoga Teleport” / Ultimate Ability: “Yoga Sunburst”

  • Goji: Tactical Ability “Power Hadouken” / Ultimate Ability “Shun Goku Satsu”

If you survive until the final round, you’ll enter the all-out battle “Showdown.”With unlimited gauges, all players remain in Fighter Form as they unleash moves against one another, and even players who are downed or respawning return immediately to the fray until only one team remains. Additionally, Fighter Change Tokens are available at the Shooting Range, allowing you to test out the controls in advance.

The Olympus stage has also been remixed, decorated with red and blue color blocks, a giant Blanka balloon, and arcade cabinets. The former Fight Night area has become “Luke’s Gym,” where you’re always in Fighter Form inside the ring and can unleash abilities without limit.

Cars familiar from the *Street Fighter* series will appear throughout the map as “Punch Trucks,” which are immune to gunfire. Punching them causes them to drop tokens, and destroying them completely rewards you with Evolution Orbs.

Additionally, the “Hadoken” makes its debut as a Mythic Universal melee item that all Legends can equip. It features a dedicated voice line where the Legend shouts “Hadoken!” every time it’s unleashed, along with a Ki afterimage effect, and comes with a matching death box.

The “Apex Legends” × “Street Fighter 6” event, which will fill the Outlands battlefield with the excitement of a fighting game, begins on Wednesday, September 23, at 2:00 a.m. JST. Get ready for a new battle where fists and firearms collide, featuring third-person action and the Hadouken.
