Mr. Remolion announced that sales of the Nintendo Switch 2 version of “Mecca Chameleon” have surpassed 300,000 copies.
Switch 2 Version of “Super Chameleon” Surpasses 300,000 Copies!
This game is a game of hide-and-seek in which characters—who can blend into the scenery by drawing pictures on their bodies—compete in teams of “it” and “hiders.” It has garnered significant attention, including winning the “Movement Award” at the Japan Game Awards 2026.
Regarding this title, sales of the Switch 2 version—which was just released on September 9—have reportedly surpassed 300,000 copies. The Switch 2 version supports cross-play with the PC version and allows for mouse control. Additionally, user-created stages are scheduled to be unlocked by the end of the year.

In conjunction with this announcement, the developers also revealed that a voice chat-related update is scheduled for around tomorrow (September 16). Since there have been reports on social media of the game picking up ambient sounds without players realizing it, it’s possible that some kind of fix will be implemented.

“Mecca Chameleon” is currently available for PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch 2. Game*Spark has published a commemorative interview to mark the release of the Switch 2 version.
