Wild Dog has announced that the early access version of *Japanese Ramen Simulator* will be available on Steam starting at 9:00 a.m. on September 28.

An Early Access version where you can experience every aspect of running a ramen shop, from prep to serving customers

This game is a chaotic ramen shop management simulation that supports up to six players.

Players tackle various tasks at the ramen shop—from food prep and cooking to serving customers and cleaning up—while occasionally facing formidable challenges from critics and even thieves. Sudden fires may break out, requiring players to use items like shurikens and fire extinguishers to resolve shop-related emergencies.

The game is developed by Wild Dog, an indie studio that sold 450,000 copies worldwide with its previous title, “Keep Digging,” in which up to eight players continuously dig a hole aiming to reach 1,000 meters underground. While the game was scheduled for a September release when it was announced in August, the specific release date has now been revealed.

The Early Access version includes the basic elements necessary for running a ramen shop, such as preparing ingredients, cooking ramen and gyoza, serving beer, interacting with customers, and customizing the shop layout. Players can divide tasks among friends via online co-op for up to six players, or hire part-time staff to run the shop solo. The game also supports the creation of original menus, physics-based topping arrangement, and shop design.

Although the Early Access period is scheduled to last approximately six months, this may change depending on the development status and player feedback. During this period, the developers plan to continue improving the game systems and adding new content, and will implement improvements based on community feedback even between major updates.

The price of the base game is scheduled to increase in stages as major content is added and the official release approaches. Players who purchase the game during the Early Access period will not be charged any additional fees resulting from future price adjustments.

In addition, the developers have announced that they are recruiting participants for a final closed beta test ahead of the Early Access launch. The application deadline is noon on September 18, 2026 (Japan Standard Time), and the test will run from 5:00 PM on September 18 to 11:59 PM on September 27. Details can be found on the Steam News page.

"Japanese Ramen Simulator" is scheduled for Early Access release on PC (Steam) on September 28, 2026.
