The Nexon booth at the Tokyo Game Show 2026 was staged on a grand scale, designed not just as a place to try out the two new titles—*Mabinogi Mobile* and *Fareidoria*—which are set to launch in Japan soon, but as a space where visitors could take a step into their worlds.

I sought advice from a mysterious entity known as the “Gamer Job-Hunting Agent” (*link leads to a PR article*) and tried out the classes featured in *Mabinogi Mobile*. When I revisited the booth this time, I was greeted by the idyllic atmosphere of *Mabinogi Mobile* and the warm, inviting world of *Fareidoria*.

The Nexon booth is located in Hall 7-C04. In this article, I’ll report on this booth, which centers on *Mabinogi Mobile*—scheduled to launch in Japan later this year—and the new title *Faleidoria*, where the world’s first hands-on demo is being held!

Enjoying “Mabinogi Mobile” with Friends Around a Campfire

The *Mabinogi Mobile* area features Tilcoネイル, the starting village familiar to series fans, and a “campfire.” Looking around the exhibition space, you’re enveloped in a soft, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel as if you’ve actually arrived at the starting point of the game’s adventure.

A campfire sculpture is also installed within the area. For the *Mabinogi* series, the “campfire” is more than just decoration.Taking a break during your adventure, enjoying cooking and music, and spending time with friends… It’s also a symbolic element of the game that has always valued these experiences of daily life and communication. It conveys a style of adventure unique to *Mabinogi*—one that’s not just about fighting monsters and pushing forward!

It was bustling with visitors from the start of Business Days, serving as a place where existing fans could rekindle their love for the series and new players could feel that “their journey begins here.” It seems like the perfect spot to take your very first commemorative photo—one you can only capture right now, before *Mabinogi Mobile* officially launches.

At the Nexon booth, you can get a head start on your *Mabinogi Mobile* adventure. In the combat experience quest, choose your favorite class—the “Dual Blade,” who attacks with rapid strikes; the “Pyro,” who freely manipulates fire; or the “Dancer,” who fights while gracefully dancing—and take on a dungeon! In the Reincarnation Experience, you can create your character, and in the Dyeing Experience, you can customize your character’s outfit to your liking using the system familiar from the *Mabinogi* series.

Visitors who play the demo and pre-register will receive an original cooling towel. It’s a practical and useful giveaway!

“Faleidoria,” which you’ll experience as a visitor to the Twilight Mansion

Another title to watch is the new game “Faleidoria” from IO DIVISION, the studio within Nexon known for developing “Blue Archive.”The area for this title is designed to evoke the “Twilight Mansion” located in Anima City, the game’s setting. While “Mabinogi Mobile”’s Tilcoネイル is a village that welcomes visitors with its gentle people, this space invites attendees into a slightly mysterious place that harbors secrets.

As you take in the building’s decorations, display items, and character visuals, you’ll feel as though you’ve been invited as a visitor to the Twilight Mansion. Characters such as Minié, Ohana, Shami, and the Elevator Girl will be on hand to greet attendees.

One of the highlights of the “Faleidoria” area is, of course, the “World’s First Hands-On Demo.” This game involves interacting with “Mates” who possess special powers, and it features rich 3D graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5. In this early hands-on experience, you’ll play as the director of the Reconstruction Center and caretaker of “Twilight Mansion” in the alternate world of “Anima City,” experiencing daily life with the Meits—who possess special abilities—and tackling the anomalies occurring in the city.Rendered in UE5, the Twilight Mansion exudes a sense of real life—from its interior design and props to the lighting—allowing you to naturally feel as though you’re living alongside the characters.

After exploring or battling, you can interact with your Meits at different times of day. The game also features a system where characters react to the player’s voice, enhancing the sense of immersion in these interactions—it’s not just about watching. Combat utilizes a “Live Turn-Based Battle” system where enemies are constantly on the move. This requires strategic judgment not only regarding the order of actions but also in determining the timing of skill activation and optimal positioning.

There’s also interactive content where you can play rock-paper-scissors against your favorite characters. By completing missions, you can receive original cooling towels and large 15-cm-diameter pin badges.

*Mabinogi Mobile* will launch in Japan for PC and mobile on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Pre-registrations have surpassed 200,000, and additional rewards for reaching 250,000 pre-registrations have been confirmed.

In addition, to coincide with the announcement of the launch date, a campaign will be held where participants can win Amazon gift cards and autographed posters from the voice actors appearing in the game.
