[TGS 2026] “RTX On” Is More Than Just a Spectacle! Experience the “NVIDIA GeForce RTX” Series at the Tokyo Game Show

At the Tokyo Game Show 2026, highly anticipated new games and large exhibition booths often take center stage, easily catching gamers’ attention. However, as you walk through the venue, you’ll also notice the technology that powerfully supports those immersive gaming experiences: NVIDIA’s “GeForce RTX 50” series GPUs.

With its high graphics performance, the “GeForce RTX 50” series is more than just a top-of-the-line component for running games at high resolutions. By combining ray-traced lighting, AI-powered DLSS technology, and high frame rates, it serves as the foundation for deeper immersion in the world of gaming.

At the Tokyo Game Show, PC manufacturers, component manufacturers, and game developers featuring the “GeForce RTX 50” series each demonstrated, in their own way, “the value of playing games with RTX.”

Experience the top-of-the-line GPU firsthand!

The “GeForce RTX 50” series is NVIDIA’s line of GPUs based on the RTX Blackwell architecture. With a wide range of models available, from the top-of-the-line “NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090” onward, you can choose the one that best fits your budget and playstyle—whether it’s playing AAA games at high resolutions, experiencing realistic lighting through ray tracing, or competing in competitive games where high frame rates are critical.

The AI neural rendering technology “DLSS 4.5” achieves both high image quality and high frame rates through second-generation Transformer models, dynamic multi-frame generation, and ray reconstruction. At the TGS 2026 venue, you can experience the visual beauty, smoothness, and responsiveness firsthand through hands-on demos provided by various companies.

With GeForce NOW, supported games run in a cloud environment, and the video feed is streamed to your device. This service serves as a gateway to PC gaming even for those who can’t immediately set up a high-performance gaming PC. At the exhibit, you could also check out the responsiveness and video quality unique to cloud gaming!

The STORM booth also featured gaming PCs equipped with GeForce RTX, showcasing an environment designed to let players enjoy the latest titles at high resolution and frame rates. Packed with visitor perks and guest appearances, the booth offered hands-on demos of titles such as “007 First Light.”
