“Reverse-Loop Horror” That Travels Back in Time
Set in a single-family home in the United States, this horror game’s most distinctive feature is its “reverse-loop horror” mechanic, where players travel back in time. By finding and playing video tapes within the game, players step into the footage and relive past events. If they find another video tape within that footage, they’ll travel even further back into the past.
Claire, a wife who continues to search for her missing husband and records her daily life on videotapes so as not to miss even the slightest clue, and Simon, her husband, who traces her recordings using the videotapes he finds as clues. By experiencing the story from these two perspectives, you’ll get closer to the truth behind the narrative.The visual style and aspect ratio will change depending on which protagonist you’re playing as.
