Funcom has announced that it plans to release the upgraded version of the open-world survival game *Conan Exiles*—*Conan Exiles Enhanced*, which was previously available exclusively on PC (Steam, Epic Game Store, and Microsoft Store)—for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in early 2027.

“Conan Exiles Enhanced,” which was released for PC in May, features various improvements—including significant graphical enhancements resulting from the transition to UE5, the ability to manage multiple characters, and the integration of DLC maps.The console version announced this time is an upgrade for current-generation consoles. It will be provided free of charge to all existing owners of “Conan Exiles” on PlayStation and Xbox, allowing them to play on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
In addition to full cross-play support being implemented shortly after the console version’s release, the “Legacy of the Giant King” update—which has already been released for the PC version—and all new bazaar items will be available from the moment the upgraded version launches.Meanwhile, while the existing version will still be playable as “Conan Exiles Legacy,” the Bazaar feature will be disabled, and the official servers will be reserved exclusively for “Enhanced,” meaning access from “Legacy” will no longer be possible.
Developer’s CEO Also Looks Forward to Future Prospects
With the game’s 10th anniversary just around the corner, Funcom CEOScott Junior, expressed his delight at being able to announce console support for the game, stating, “I sincerely hope we can continue to support and develop this title for another 10 years, and I look forward to seeing what the next decade will bring for ‘Conan Exiles’ and our dedicated community.” He left a comment expressing his anticipation for the future.
The console version of *Conan Exiles Enhanced* is currently in development for release in early 2027. A specific release date will be announced at a later time.
