"Brave Rogue," a turn-based roguelike RPG designed with a strong focus on playability that offers 1,000 playthroughs, launches on October 31! Conquer dungeons stress-free with the "Comfort Dash" feature.

Independent game developer Dorasa has announced that the turn-based roguelike RPG *Hero Rogue* is scheduled for release on October 31. The game will also be showcased at the indie game expo “Tokyo Game Dungeon 14,” which takes place on the same day.

“Comfort Dash” and auto-identification—a roguelike that’s just plain comfortable!

This is a classic roguelike RPG where you take on procedurally generated dungeons that change shape every time you enter. While the turn-based system allows you to play at a leisurely pace, the “Comfort Dash” (commonly known as “K-Dash”) keeps the tempo flowing, and the game’s systems are designed to minimize hassle.Staves and earrings whose effects have been identified are automatically marked as such, and in shops, you simply place items on the floor and talk to the shopkeeper, “Panda,” to have the selling price automatically entered.

His dedication even led him to build his own “roguelike-specific gamepad”!

In addition to game development, Mr. Dorasa reportedly focuses primarily on 3D printing and electronics projects. His passion for roguelikes has led him to even build his own dedicated gamepad. Since turn-based roguelikes are a genre that typically requires a relatively high number of button presses, his attention to detail—extending even to the feel of the buttons and their layout—demonstrates an extraordinary level of dedication.

"Brave Rogue" is scheduled for release on PC (Steam) on October 31. "Tokyo Game Dungeon 14" will be held on the same day from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the 2nd and 3rd floor exhibition halls of the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center Hamamatsucho Building.
