There’s no longer a place for me in the town where I was born and raised

In this game, you explore a transformed hometown that has been taken over by a robot attack—a place where neighbors have been digitized and the ghosts of androids roam.To settle the score with the past, players take up a sledgehammer and destroy fragments of their memories—including childhood recollections—as they confront their own history.

Key Features

  • Wield a 10kg
sledgehammer—a physical tool for interaction—as a means of “settling the past,” smashing hordes of mechanical imitations of humans and the buildings they call home. But will this destructive catharsis heal your soul? Or will it only inflict even greater pain on your heart?

  • The Core Story
Destroying your birthplace awakens the ghosts. This is a story you drive. Cinematic visuals lay bare the complexity woven from your inner fears and desires, as well as the virtues and flaws of your family.

  • I wish I could have lived without suffering. The
body is a source of pain and impure bodily fluids. Now that I’ve shed my bones and no longer feel hunger, I can say this: I’m happier now than ever before.

*Virtue and a Sledgehammer*, which also supports Japanese, is available on Steam for PC.
