"PlayerHub - Lightweight multiplayer" (hereinafter "PlayerHub"), a lightweight multiplayer mod for *The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition* (hereinafter "Skyrim SE"), has been released on Nexus Mods.
A casual multiplayer experience where players can connect using their preferred mod setups
While *Skyrim SE* is known as a single-player open-world RPG, various multiplayer mods have been released to date, including “Skyrim Together (Reborn),” which allows players to progress through quests together; “Keizaal Online,” where players explore a world completely devoid of NPCs; and “LUMIS,” which lets players visualize other players’ movements as “lanterns.”

The latest mod, “PlayerHub,” was inspired by the “Specter” system in *Dark Souls* and developed with a focus on “lightweight performance” and “compatibility.” It allows players to enjoy interacting with one another while maintaining the state and progress of their own individual game worlds.

Once connected to the server, players appear to one another in-game; however, quest progress, NPCs, and enemy states are not synchronized, and players cannot directly interfere with one another—such as by dealing damage.

However, players can chat and exchange items and equipment. Additionally, if both players have the same mod equipment installed, it will sync; otherwise, the default outfit will be displayed.

The reference video demonstrates players roaming the world together, exchanging items, and using the feature to hide annoying players from view—even though they are in different mod environments.

“PlayerHub - Lightweight multiplayer” is available on Nexus Mods for *The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition*. Please install at your own risk.
