Publishers Wired Productions and Gamersky Games have announced competitive multiplayer functionality for *ShipShaper: Falconeer Chronicles*, developed by Tomas Sala.
Shipbuilding Tool Evolves into a Competitive Game
When Early Access began in September 2026, the game was viewed primarily as a “tool-based” title focused on allowing players to easily and freely create ships; future update plans did not explicitly mention the implementation of competitive multiplayer.
Competitive Multiplayer Scheduled for Official Release on November 19
It has now been announced that online competitive multiplayer will be implemented on November 19 for this title, which was previously thought to remain purely a “tool-based” game.
Call for Participants in Pre-Launch Playtest
Additionally, the developers have reportedly been conducting a closed beta test for competitive play over the past month. As the next step before the official release, a new playtest is set to begin on October 27, and they are currently recruiting participants on this page.
