Vendetta has released “The Mailroom,” a horror work simulator developed by Crowfriend, for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Praised for its immersive mail-sorting gameplay and short but enjoyable story, the game has already received “very positive” reviews.
A Cozy Horror Set in a Hellish Mailroom
This game is a horror job simulator set in a hellish mailroom. Although it’s a horror game, it’s described as having a cozy atmosphere and features elements of dark humor.
The player’s main task is sorting incoming mail—a monotonous job that becomes second nature once you get the hang of it, but you must never let your guard down. You’ll also need to perform maintenance yourself to keep the machines running.
Not only that, but the game also involves tasks such as dissecting amphibians and processing or mixing ingredients; players must also explore their surroundings to uncover secrets and find a way to escape.

A Strong Start
As of the time of this writing (October 27), the game’s release date, it has received a “Very Positive” rating on Steam, with 100% of 67 reviews recommending it.
Players seem to highly appreciate the game’s eerie yet cozy atmosphere, the immersive work elements—including an Endless Mode—and the fact that the story, though short, is enjoyable.
"The Mailroom" is currently available for Windows, Mac, and Linux (Steam) for 1,050 yen (892 yen until November 6).
