Weltmaschine, a student from the Netherlands, has released “Battlefield ZEUSPARK (BFZ),” a large-scale FPS that pays homage to a famous title and was developed using “RPG Maker 2003.”

Large-scale battles where modern weapons and magic clash in a fantasy world

This game pays homage to the “Battlefield” series—a landmark in large-scale online FPS games—and is a single-player, large-scale combat FPS featuring fantasy characters in the style of RPG Maker, battling with a mix of modern weaponry and magic.Jump into the battlefield as a single soldier amidst fierce clashes between opposing factions. From the basics of combat—such as taking down enemies on foot—to dominating the battlefield with vehicles, heavy weapons, and even the firepower of dragons, supporting allies as a medic or healer—you’ll spend your days and nights fighting to make a decisive, one-man-against-a-thousand impact on the battlefield.

The UI and homage-style visuals, reminiscent of online multiplayer, shine with love for *BF*

Although this title was reportedly created in one go during a break after college exams, it features a rich variety of maps and weapons, offering ample content for a fan-made project. While the UI and visual effects—many of which are clearly inspired by the official *Battlefield* series—strongly convey the creator’s love for the original, the game also possesses its own originality through the skillful incorporation of a fantasy setting, making it clear that this is not merely a copycat work.

“Battlefield ZEUSPARK (BFZ)” is currently available via a Google Drive share by Weltmaschine. Please note that downloading fan-made content is at your own risk. While I have confirmed that it runs on my PC, please be aware that the creator does not guarantee compatibility with Japanese language environments.
