Yuji Horii Makes a Meaningful Comment on *The Portopia Serial Murders: Part 2*
This title is a full remake of *The Portopia Serial Murder Case*, which was first released for the PC-6001 in June 1983 and later for the Family Computer in November 1985. Yuji Horii serves as the original creator and executive producer, and the game reportedly includes five additional investigation files told from different perspectives.

Regarding this title, Yuji Horii posted a comment quoting a post by Gozo Shiozaki. “The culprit is Yasu. Is that really the case?” he wrote, using a phrase that became a meme from the original *Portopia Serial Murder Case*—a comment that hints at hidden truths or some sort of change.
He also commented that players will surely understand the reason for the “Sequel” in the title and the meaning of the subtitle, “Burial of Oblivion,” once they play the game.

*Portopia Serial Murders: The Burial of Oblivion* is scheduled for release on March 4, 2027, for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam).Prices are 4,800 yen for the digital version, 7,678 yen for the standard physical edition, and 9,878 yen for the limited physical edition (all prices include tax).
