Cygnus Cross has announced that the early access version of the pixel art action RPG *Emberville* will be released on Steam on October 28, 2026 (Japan Standard Time). The company has released a new trailer announcing the release date via IGN International.

A Pixel-Art ARPG Where You Repeatedly Rebuild the Town and Conquer Dungeons

The game is set in “Vitro Motus,” a vast underground world originally created as a magical prison where “death is no longer eternal.” The protagonist, who awakens with no memory, explores dungeons filled with dangerous monsters to rescue survivors and rebuild the ruined town of “Emberville.”

The rescued residents move into the town and support the protagonist with their unique skills and knowledge. While learning about the residents’ stories and completing quests, players can develop the town and their own base through gathering, crafting, farming, and cooking.

In combat, in addition to weapon-specific combos, you can combine active and passive skills learned from multiple classes. Using melee attacks, magic, and ranged attacks, you can build a combat style that suits your preferences.

The release date announcement trailer published on IGN International showcased the peaceful town life, building, and farming, as well as the combat that unfolds in the underground world.

Early Access is scheduled to last approximately 12 months

At the start of Early Access, the game will include content covering the early to mid-game. It supports single-player mode and features base building, gathering, crafting, farming, cooking, and equipment and skill systems.

The Early Access period is scheduled to last approximately 12 months, and the developers plan to incorporate community feedback to add and improve features such as bosses, biomes, monsters, and difficulty settings.

*Emberville* is scheduled to launch in Early Access for PC (Steam) on October 28, 2026 (Japan Standard Time). According to the store page, Japanese interface and subtitles are also planned.
